Sustainable development requires structure and clear HR processes
As part of the implementation of HiBob, Skyborn faced the challenge of further developing its global HR process landscape and making it future-proof. Many existing processes had evolved over time and varied by region. At the same time, this very diversity offered valuable perspectives, but it also made it challenging to establish a consistent, global understanding of end-to-end HR processes.
Topics such as transparency, clear roles and responsibilities, and uniform standards for digital mapping within the system were to be further harmonized in the next step to create a stable foundation for the continued development of HR processes. At the same time, it was clear that the future HR structure must function consistently on a global scale while still allowing room for local requirements.
What made this project special was the combination of the respective strengths of both sides: Skyborn brought a deep understanding of its own structures, international perspectives, and clear requirements for future HR processes. Alliantis complemented this with methodological structure, experience in designing end-to-end HR processes, and the integration of process design, system logic, and international framework conditions.
It was precisely this synergy that made it possible to develop solutions that are both strategically sound and feasible in day-to-day operations, thereby laying the foundation for the joint project outcome.

Project Description
Structure creates clarity and connects processes, systems, and compliance
Together with Skyborn, we structured and strategically refined HR processes across the entire People & Tech Life Cycle (PTLC): from Magnetic Attraction through Recruiting and Onboarding to Performance, Development, and Offboarding.
In interactive workshops, both remote and on-site, we jointly analyzed existing processes, brought together different perspectives from the regions, and developed a unified understanding of future workflows. The goal was not merely to document processes, but to consciously rethink them and align them with Skyborn’s future requirements.
A central component was reconciling global and local requirements while simultaneously taking relevant international frameworks into account. On this basis, target processes were jointly developed that are both consistent and practical.
Particular focus was placed on integrating HR process design, international requirements, and HiBob’s system logic. This ensured that the developed solutions are not only conceptually sound but can also be seamlessly and sustainably implemented within the system.
Results
From established structures to clarity, transparency, and global applicability
Thanks to our collaboration, Skyborn now has a consistent and transparent HR process landscape that serves as the foundation for further development.
The end-to-end processes are clearly defined, roles and responsibilities are described in a transparent manner, and uniform standards have been established across locations. At the same time, we ensured that international requirements are taken into account, allowing a global approach to be aligned with local needs
The developed process blueprints create a structured foundation for the further elaboration and future implementation of the processes in HiBob. They help to consolidate discussions, make responsibilities more transparent, and create a shared understanding of future workflows. At the same time, they serve as a guide for further detailing and the continuous development of the processes within the system.
The open, collaborative, and forward-looking partnership with Skyborn was particularly valuable in this regard. Through our joint work in the individual sessions, a very collaborative exchange on equal footing emerged, in which different perspectives were openly discussed and brought together.
The willingness to critically examine existing processes and jointly explore new approaches has significantly contributed to developing solutions that are not only conceptually sound but also sustainable in the long term.
Insights
HR Processes as a Lever for Sustainable Development
The project has shown that clearly defined and jointly developed HR processes extend far beyond their operational function. They provide guidance, foster a shared understanding, and thus become a key lever for the organization’s further development.
Today, the process blueprints serve as a structured foundation for the further elaboration and continuous development of HR processes. The joint exchange of different perspectives, challenges, and future visions was particularly valuable in this regard.
The sessions created space to reflect on processes together, discuss ideas, and develop a shared understanding of how HR at Skyborn should be structured in the future. Skyborn has thus established a foundation for thinking about HR globally while implementing it effectively locally: flexible, scalable, and future-oriented.
