Shaping change: Mastering the challenges of HR-IT transformation

The challenge was to comprehensively evaluate our existing HR IT landscape and make it future-proof.

SAP's cloud-first strategy and other internal initiatives required adjustments and new solutions that were closely aligned with the requirements of the HR department. As our previous HR IT strategy ended in 2023, we needed to develop a new roadmap for the future.

This was to provide us with clear orientation in order to efficiently cover long-term requirements and make optimum use of new technical possibilities.

Aims of the project

01

Sustainable strategy

Efficient and future-proof HR IT architecture for long-term success

02

Flexible scalability

Solutions that grow and adapt with the requirements

03

Cooperation between HR & IT

Basis for continuous further development and adaptation to new challenges

Project description

Objective

The aim of the project was therefore to define an HR IT architecture that would meet both current and future requirements, while also enabling flexible, scalable solutions for years to come.

Through close collaboration with HR and a clear vision, we were able to build a sustainable HR IT strategy that both ensures the smooth completion of existing projects and provides the basis for continuous development and optimization.

Results

We were able to identify our focus topics in HR for the coming years and make a decision on how to further develop our SAP landscape accordingly. The resulting HR digitalization roadmap gives us and the organization a transparent overview of upcoming projects.

In addition, the roadmap enables us to prioritize projects in a targeted manner and ensures that all measures are aligned and fit in with the company's strategic direction. It also creates the basis for better collaboration between HR and IT so that digital innovations can be implemented efficiently and with maximum benefit for everyone involved.
